The Hippo Reads Social Media Intern Must Haves… Minimum availability of 8-10 hours a week Based in the Bay Area Academia-based writing skills Passion for visual and written communication Comfort maintaining social platforms and moderating comments Understanding of using social media professionally Comfort with statistics Strong communication and skills Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment Highly organized Hard worker with a fantastic attitude and zero cynicism about the digital and social space Knowledge of the digital publishing industry and Hippo’s core mission Hippo internships offer students the chance to join a growing startup and provide a potential avenue for publication.
