My research focuses on the interplay between socio-economic factors and health. Currently, I am a PhD student examining the way in which body height can influence later-life outcomes. I use a large intra- and inter-generational dataset of Dutch men, birth year 1912-1959 (as part of the broader Giants of the Modern World project). My academic background also involves a mix of history and health economics. I hold a M.Phil in history from Darwin College, University of Cambridge, and an M.Sc in Health and Society from Wageningen University.
