Darlene Kriesel

Adjunct faculty member, Cal Baptist University and Riverside Community College

Darlene is a writer who holds an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of California, Riverside. She is currently working on her novel, House Secrets, and a memoir. Darlene developed an ear for writing early on from the African-American culture, with its poetry, music, rhythm, and figurative language, and her mind always leads her to the most poignant and powerful details of human strife and joy; that is, to the heart of a story.
