I am a current PhD student at University of California, Los Angeles. I have a BA in Psychology and Economics from The University of Texas at Austin, where I conduced my honors thesis project on the impact of decision making strategies on financial choices. I spent two years working at the IC2 Institute at The University of Texas At Austin, where I conducted research on innovation ecosystems, business network expansion among startup companies, startup company vetting by incubators and investors, and the development of persuasion strategies in business pitches. As a graduate student at UCLA, I study the ways in which decision cues are selected and combined to make choices, inhibition of decision cues, the interactions between basic-level processes and higher-level thought, and individual differences in decision making and reasoning.
