I have extensive work experience in quantitative data analysis, both teaching and researching (e.g., development of psychological assessment tools, experimental and correlational studies, and meta-analysis). I have lectured at universities, in the private and the public sector in the areas of research methods for social sciences, organisational psychology and health psychology. My main area of research has been psychosocial factors affecting the occupational well-being of disadvantaged workers. The role of positive affect as a protective factor has also underpinned my research. My research has been featured in several media outlets such as APS’ Psychological Science at Work, Australian Financial Review, NPR, Inside Higher Ed, The Guardian, International HR Adviser, The Melbourne Review, SBS, ABC News Radio, Q Radio, The Times UK, The Huffington Post, The Conversation, Women’s Agenda, The SMH and The Age, among others.
